Northwest Houston consists of five independent school districts: Aldine ISD, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD (Cy-Fair ISD), Klein ISD, Spring ISD and Tomball ISD. All five school districts are proud of their high rankings on state basic skills tests in their reading, writing, and mathematics.
